This notice explains how PKJL Investments collects, holds, uses, and discloses personal information for Portfolio Analyser. It is designed to align with the Australian Privacy Principles and should be reviewed by Australian legal counsel before public launch.

Version 2026-04-09. We take reasonable steps to provide this notice before or at the time we collect personal information through sign-up, profile creation, portfolio use, and Professional agency workflows.

Who is collecting your information

What we collect
  • identity and contact details such as your first name, email address, mobile number, postcode, and account role or plan
  • authentication and account records such as sign-in method, confirmation timestamps, password reset events, invite acceptance, and security logs
  • investor, portfolio, search, property, scenario, and activity data that you enter or generate while using the platform
  • for Professional workspaces, client, adviser, lending-pipeline, review, compliance, and workflow data entered by authorised team members
  • technical and usage information such as IP address, browser or device information, page and feature activity, request logs, and diagnostic events
Why we collect it
  • create and secure user accounts and authenticate access
  • provide property screening, portfolio analysis, agency workflow, reporting, and export features
  • store your settings, saved searches, scenarios, portfolios, client records, and workspace activity
  • operate, maintain, secure, audit, support, and improve the platform, including refining estimates and business metrics
  • send transactional communications such as sign-in links, password resets, invite emails, and important service notices
  • comply with legal, regulatory, risk-management, and record-keeping obligations
If you do not provide it

We may be unable to create your account, authenticate you, provide portfolio or Professional workspace features, process invitations, or support your use of the platform.

Usual disclosures
  • contracted hosting, database, authentication, SMS, email, analytics, security, and infrastructure providers
  • property-data and mapping providers used to return search results and related market signals
  • other users in the same agency workspace where Professional features are used and the data is intentionally shared within that workspace
  • professional advisers, auditors, insurers, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, or courts where reasonably necessary or legally required
Likely overseas disclosures

Our service providers may handle personal information in Australia and United States and any other jurisdiction in which an updated provider operates. We aim to use reputable providers with privacy and security controls appropriate to the information they process.

How we collect and hold personal information

We collect personal information directly from you through sign-up forms, account settings, portfolio and client workflows, saved scenarios, exported reports, support requests, and authenticated use of the platform. We may also receive information indirectly from your agency administrator, your team members within the same Professional workspace, authentication providers, invited-user flows, and integrated data providers where needed to operate the service. We hold information in secured application databases, cloud hosting services, logs, and backup systems managed by us and our contracted providers.

How we use and disclose personal information

We use personal information for the purposes listed in the collection notice above. We may also use de-identified or aggregated information to understand product usage, improve models, measure business performance, and develop new features. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose personal information in the usual ways described above where reasonably necessary to run the platform or where disclosure is authorised or required by law.

Access and correction

You can update some account details inside the app. For other access or correction requests, email pkjlinvestments@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before actioning the request.

Complaints
  • email your request or complaint to the contact address below and describe the information or issue involved
  • we will acknowledge the request and aim to respond within 30 days
  • if you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)
Overseas disclosures

We are likely to disclose or make personal information available to contracted service providers in Australia and United States. Where personal information is disclosed to an overseas recipient, we aim to take reasonable contractual and operational steps to protect that information.

Security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and contractual safeguards intended to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. We retain personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the platform, related records, dispute handling, security, or legal obligations, after which we aim to delete or de-identify it where lawful and practicable.
